We are open from 10:00am until 6:00pm* (4:30pm during Winter/daylight saving time) every day. Last admissions are an hour before closing.

Times for daily shows and events are shown at the main entrance. A great tip is to take a quick picture with your phone so that you have the times with you all day!

Places to eat and drink
Birdworld has a large restaurant serving a wide range of food with a 5/5 hygiene rating, from snacks to a full hot meal. We offer two meals for £12 as part of this range, offering excellent value for money.

Puddleducks Restaurant
Puddleducks is open from 10am to 5pm (10am to 4pm during Winter/daylight saving time), and visitors are welcome to visit the restaurant without paying to enter the park. Puddleducks is set in beautiful surroundings with views over the wildfowl fountain pond and the first section of Birdworld. Bookings for parties are welcome for special meal deals, group meals and cream teas, and don’t forget Birdworld for birthday parties for one of the most unusual parties around, at excellent value!

Safari Snacks
Safari Snacks is a large outdoor kiosk, conveniently located halfway between the Birdworld entrance and Jenny Wren Farm; and situated adjacent to a play area. Safari Snacks offers a range of ‘take out’ options including hot dogs, jacket potatoes and chips. A wide selection of ice creams are also available as well as a choice of hot and cold drinks.

Birdworld Kiosks
Birdworld also offers two great value kiosks for snacks on the go! The Link Kiosk provides a range of hot and cold drinks and snacks and is also conveniently placed next door to Haskins Forest Lodge Garden Centre. The Farm Kiosk outside of the Jenny Wren Farm offers hot and cold drinks with a choice of ice creams and confectionary and cake items.

By Public Transport
The South Western Railway service from London Waterloo to Alton, stops at Aldershot, Farnham and Bentley. From Farnham or Aldershot Train Station, visitors can take the Stagecoach Bus Service to directly outside Birdworld. By Road
Reach Birdworld by following the brown and white cockatoo road signs. We are located 2 miles south of Farnham on the A325, well signposted from the M3 junction 4. Easily accessible from the M25.
By Bicycle

Consider the environment with a Nature Walk!
Consider starting your visit to Birdworld with a walk through the beautiful Alice Holt Forest.
Click here to download printable directions (.pdf file) from Bentley station. The sheet also includes space for children to jot down any wildlife they have seen en route. You might be lucky enough to see deer, woodpeckers, foxes, a whole host of butterflies and maybe even some birds of prey!
The walk takes around 30-45 minutes. If you have a bit of spare time you can visit the Bentley Butterfly Meadow which is next to the station. This site of special scientific interest is managed by Butterfly Conservation and always displays up-to-date information on what to look out for! Notable species include Purple Emperor, Silver Washed Fritillary and Grizzled Skipper. For more information visit www.butterfly-conservation.org/
